Renowned for its magnificent golden beaches, often backed by pine forest, we have explored Halkidiki several times over the years but never found what we were looking for – until now that is.

The small seaside village of Olymbiada in the north-east of Halkidiki, certaninly ticks all the right boxes for us, and is a world away from the busier more commercial resort areas to the south-west.
