The attractive modern Hotel Armonia enjoys a peaceful waterfront location just to the south of Nidri. It is the base for our sailing programme (the hotel has its own jetty), so a good choice for those wishing to take part in any of our shore-based courses (see pages 10-11). Its friendly, very informal atmosphere and its good value family rooms make the Armonia a popular choice for those with one or two children (prices on request).

Although away from the bustle of Nidri, a gentle 10 minute stroll along the quiet waterfront road (no hills) brings you to the harbour with its array of cafes and restaurants, and 15 minutes to the beach, which has sunbeds and watersports.

The Hotel Armonia has only 20 studio rooms in total contained in the main building and in two separate small blocks to the rear. All our rooms are first (top) floor with some form of sea view from the balcony, bath/shower/wc, light kitchen facilities (fridge, kettle, basic utensils), satellite tv, telephone and hairdryer. Air-conditioning is available at a local charge of 6 euros per day. Rooms are light and spacious and most can take one or two extra beds (may be folding) for children.

The hotel also has two apartments. Both possess a satellite tv and dvd player, and have air-conditioning included in the price.

 

The 1-bedroom for 2/4 persons is on the lower ground floor and overlooks the garden. It has a large living/dining room with a well equipped kitchen area. The living room contains a sofa bed and a bed, and television. There is a separate bedroom with double bed, and each apartment has a private shower/wc. The apartments are on the ground floor so they do not have a balcony but do possess a garden patio where you can sit. Their ground floor location also makes them suitable for families with young children and those who have difficulty walking, but it must be remembered that hotel facilities such as reception, pool and the bar are upstairs - one floor above.

The 2-bedroom for up to 6 persons is on the top floor and enjoys stunning views over Nidri Bay. The very large (80 m2) living / dining / kitchen area is comfortable with beautiful pool, sea and mountain views.  An extra folding bed can be added to this room if required. The kitchen area is well equipped with full oven and large refrigerator. There is a private balcony with sea and mountain views - a nice place to admire the sunset. One bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has two single beds. There is a large private shower / wc. The entire apartment is air conditioned (included), and there is a television.

The swimming pool to the front has a children’s section and adjacent pool bar. Lunchtime snacks/light meals and (usually) evening meals are available from the hotel restaurant. The hotel provides free wi-fi access in its public areas.

The Armonia is an excellent choice for those wanting an informal holiday in a very laid-back atmosphere with plenty to do (should you so wish) and easy access to brighter lights. Apart from the sailing courses, motorboats can be hired, bicycles rented, and Nidri offers plenty of diversion, including daily boat trips.

The Hotel Armonia has some small motorboats available for rental from just £25 per day. (note: you do not have to stay at Armonia to hire these boats).
