There is a fully equipped PADI diving centre at the Hotel Caloura which can be used by both residents of the hotel and non-residents alike. Accommodating any diver, from the complete beginner to the most experienced, with shore and boat dives, one is offered a combination of variety, beauty and adventure.

With caves, volcanic drop-offs, arches and an abundance of both Atlantic and Tropical fish life – parrot fish, groupers, sting and eagle rays, moray and conger eels, barracudas, amberjacks, turtles and dolphins – divers will have an unforgettable experience.

Notes:

• To maintain safety dives are limited to 40 metres and a maximum group size of 6.
• All dives include a 12 litre steel tank (220 BAR), weight belt and weight, dive master guidance and boat transportation to/from the dive sites within a 6-mile radius.
• A minimum age of 16 yrs applies to all PADI programmes except the Discover scuba course where a minimum age of 8 yrs applies.
• A medical certificate confirming fitness to dive is required for the Discover Scuba Diving, Licence Scuba Diver and Licence Open Water Diver courses.
